Is Windham Country Club open to the public?
Yes.  Windham Country Club is open to the public for play every day between April 1st and October 31st.  We also offer an Annual Golf Membership with a variety of outstanding benefits, along with special two month memberships.  For more information on membership, please Click HERE.
 

How far is the golf course from the NYS Thruway (Exit 21)
Windham Country Club is located approximately 30 minutes from Exit 21 of the NYS Thruway (I-87).  Click HERE for directions.

What is your address?
Windham Country Club is located at 36 South Street (County Route 12), Windham, NY 12496.

How early can I call to reserve a tee time? 
You may call any time in advance of the day you would like to play. The pro shop may be reached at 518-734-9910. Tee times are also available over the internet.

How early should I arrive prior to my tee time?
We recommend that you arrive at the golf course at least thirty minutes prior to your tee time to ensure that all check-in requirements are fulfilled and that you will have ample time to warm up and become acquainted with the golf course and our rules.

Does Windham Country Club offer senior rates?
Windham Country  Club offers a senior rate of $41.00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Additional discounts are on Tuesday and Thursday. Senior rates are available to all golfers over 62 years of age..

Does Windham Country Club offer any special rates?
Yes.  We have special rates on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoon.  Additional promotions will be communicated over the internet. Please Click HERE.

I don’t have my own clubs; do you offer club rentals? 
Yes; we offer club rentals at a cost of $25 for the set. 


What credit cards does Windham Country Club accept? 
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.

Does Windham Country Club host tournaments or banquets?
Yes, Windham Country Club hosts numerous tournaments and banquets throughout the year.  We can accommodate groups of all sizes and types, ranging from small outings for 16 to full-day double shot gun tournaments for 300.

What is the dress policy? 
♦  We allow soft spikes only
♦  Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts (mock turtles are acceptable)
♦  Appropriate fashion tops for women
♦  Tee shirts and tank tops are prohibited on the course
♦  Shorts are requested to be mid-thigh length or longer; no cut-offs, please
♦  Denim clothing is not allowed on the golf course from Memorial Day to Labor Day.


What other club policies should I be aware of?
♦  USGA Rules govern all play
♦  Please repair your ball mark and one other on the greens during play
♦  Carts must remain on paths around all tees, greens, and entire Par 3’s
♦  Personal coolers with alcohol are not permitted except when purchased from the club
♦  All alcohol purchased on site must remain on site
♦  Replace all divots in fairways and fill divots with sand/seed mixture provided on all Par 3's
♦  Must have a valid driver's license to operate a golf car

How many players does Windham Country Club consider a tournament?
16 to 144 players.

What is required to set up a tournament?
♦   The tournament date, the desired start time, and the time of day. Based on your criteria, we will determine what our availability will be.
♦   Your contact information such as address, phone number and email address when you make your reservation.
♦   An executed tournament contract and a deposit in order to hold your event date. 

When is the final amount due?
The full balance is due eight (8) days prior to the event.

Can we bring in outside food or beverage?
We do not allow food or beverage from outside vendors.  Contact the Pro Shop for special consideration for Charitable Organizations and Events.

Can I have a shotgun start?
Yes; however, you will need a minimum of 100 players for a shotgun start.

Is there a banquet area for awards?
Yes, we have a wonderful banquet facility along with a professional team of catering and event specialists on hand to assist with all the details.

Can you assist with tee prizes, trophies, merchandise, banners, sponsor signs or hole in one insurance?
Yes! Please contact the Pro Shop to find out more about our breadth of tournament and special event capabilities.  We can customize all-inclusive packages based on your budget and the size of the event.

Will the course set up the foursomes, provide scorecards and cart signs, and do the scoring after the event?
We will provide the personalized scorecards and cart signs. All you need to do is send us your pairings. We also have experienced staff to handle the scoring after the event.

Will the course hang our banners for us and put out our tee signs?
Yes.  We are happy to take care of these details for you.  Our goal is to exceed your needs and expectations every time you visit.
